1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the CampZa platform ("Service"), including the web application at app.campza.in and any associated mobile applications, you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.
If you are accessing CampZa on behalf of a school, college, or educational institution ("School"), you represent and warrant that you have the legal authority to bind that institution to these Terms.
2. Definitions
- "CampZa" refers to CampZa Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of India.
- "Service" means the CampZa school management platform, including all web and mobile applications, APIs, dashboards, and associated services.
- "School" means the educational institution that has subscribed to the Service.
- "School Administrator" means the authorised representative of the School who manages the CampZa account.
- "Users" means all individuals granted access under a School's account, including administrators, teachers, finance managers, parents, and students.
- "School Data" means all data entered into the Service by or on behalf of a School, including student records, staff information, attendance, marks, and financial data.
- "Subscription" means the paid plan that grants the School access to the Service for a defined period.
3. Description of Service
CampZa is a cloud-based school management platform that provides educational institutions with tools for:
- Student and staff administration and profile management
- Attendance tracking and reporting
- Academic records, marks, and report card generation
- Fee collection, receipts, and financial reporting
- Parent–teacher communication and push notifications
- Homework and timetable management
- Admission processing and document management
- Certificate generation
The Service is provided on a subscription basis to schools and educational institutions in India. CampZa reserves the right to introduce, modify, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice to active subscribers.
4. Account Registration and Responsibilities
4.1 School Administrator
Each School is provided with one primary administrator account. The School Administrator is responsible for:
- Providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date registration information
- Ensuring all Users added to the platform are authorised staff, enrolled students, or verified parents of that School
- Maintaining the confidentiality of all login credentials and access tokens
- Ensuring appropriate and lawful use of the platform by all Users under the School's account
- Notifying CampZa promptly at sales@campza.in of any suspected unauthorised access or security breach
4.2 User Accounts
User accounts are created by the School Administrator. Each User is personally responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials. CampZa is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from a User's failure to keep their account secure.
4.3 Accurate Information
Schools agree to provide truthful information during registration and onboarding and to keep that information current throughout the subscription period.
5. Subscription and Payments
5.1 Fees
Access to CampZa is subject to the subscription fee agreed upon in the Service Agreement or Order Form signed between CampZa and the School. Fees are:
- Quoted and billed in Indian Rupees (INR)
- Inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless otherwise stated
- Non-refundable except as expressly set out in these Terms
5.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. CampZa does not store credit card, debit card, or bank account details. All payment disputes related to the transaction gateway must be raised with Razorpay directly.
5.3 Renewal and Cancellation
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled at least 15 days before the renewal date
- To cancel, the School Administrator must notify CampZa in writing at sales@campza.in
- No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods already paid
5.4 Late Payment and Suspension
If payment is not received within 30 days of the due date, CampZa reserves the right to suspend access to the Service without further notice. Access will be restored upon receipt of the outstanding amount. Data is retained during the suspension period.
5.5 Price Changes
CampZa may revise subscription fees at renewal. Schools will be notified of any price changes at least 30 days before they take effect.
6. Data Ownership
CampZa processes School Data solely to provide and improve the Service. Upon termination of the subscription:
- The School may request a full data export within 30 days of the termination date
- After 30 days, all School Data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from CampZa's systems
- Anonymised, aggregated usage analytics that cannot identify any individual or school may be retained indefinitely
- Audit logs may be retained for up to one year for security and legal compliance purposes
7. Acceptable Use
Users agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose: the lawful administration of educational institutions. You must not use the Service to:
- Upload, transmit, or store unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or abusive content
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other schools' data, accounts, or systems connected to CampZa
- Introduce viruses, malware, or any other malicious code into the Service
- Conduct automated scraping, crawling, or data harvesting without CampZa's written consent
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Service
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise redistribute access to the Service without prior written consent from CampZa
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of any part of the platform
- Use the Service for any purpose other than legitimate school administration
CampZa reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and to suspend or terminate access where a breach is confirmed.
8. Service Availability
CampZa targets a monthly uptime of 99%, excluding scheduled maintenance. However, CampZa does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure access to the Service at all times.
- Scheduled maintenance will be communicated to School Administrators in advance wherever possible
- CampZa is not liable for downtime or degraded performance caused by third-party service providers including Google Firebase, Google Cloud Platform, or Razorpay
- CampZa is not liable for service interruptions caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including force majeure events such as natural disasters, government actions, or widespread internet outages
9. Intellectual Property
The CampZa platform, including its design, user interface, underlying code, branding, trademarks, logos, and documentation, is the exclusive intellectual property of CampZa Technologies Private Limited and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in CampZa's intellectual property other than the limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service as described herein during the subscription period.
Schools retain full ownership of their School Data and any reports, certificates, or documents generated from their own data through the Service.
10. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to keep confidential the other's non-public information disclosed in connection with the Service ("Confidential Information") and to use it only for the purposes of these Terms. This obligation does not apply to information that:
- Is or becomes publicly known without breach of any confidentiality obligation
- Was already known to the receiving party before disclosure
- Is required to be disclosed by law, regulation, or court order, in which case the disclosing party shall give prompt notice where legally permitted
11. Privacy and Data Protection
CampZa processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
- CampZa acts as a Data Processor on behalf of the School, which is the Data Fiduciary
- Schools are responsible for ensuring they have a lawful basis for processing the personal data of students, staff, and parents before entering it into CampZa
- Schools must obtain appropriate parental or guardian consent before enrolling minors where required by applicable law
- CampZa does not use School Data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the Service
12. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with the following third-party providers. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies:
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud Platform: infrastructure, database, authentication, storage, and push notifications. Firebase Privacy Policy ↗

CampZa is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
CampZa does not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CampZa's total aggregate liability to the School for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by the School in the three (3) months immediately preceding the claim.
CampZa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunity
- Costs of procuring substitute services
- Any damages resulting from unauthorised access to or alteration of School Data
These limitations apply even if CampZa has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
15. Indemnification
The School agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CampZa, its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- The School's or its Users' use of the Service in violation of these Terms
- The School's breach of its obligations under applicable data protection laws
- Any third-party claim arising from School Data entered into the Service
16. Termination
16.1 Termination by the School
The School may terminate the subscription by providing 30 days' written notice to CampZa at sales@campza.in. No refund will be issued for the remaining portion of the current billing period.
16.2 Termination by CampZa
CampZa may suspend or terminate the School's access to the Service immediately and without notice if:
- Payment is overdue by more than 30 days
- The School is found to be in material breach of these Terms and fails to remedy the breach within 14 days of written notice
- Continued provision of the Service poses a legal, security, or reputational risk to CampZa or other users
- CampZa is required to do so by law or regulatory order
16.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, all User access is immediately revoked. School Data will be retained for 30 days to allow an export request, after which it will be permanently deleted.
17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for a period of at least 30 days before initiating legal proceedings.
If negotiation fails, any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
18. Changes to These Terms
CampZa may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, business practices, or the Service. We will notify School Administrators of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 15 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The latest version of these Terms will always be available at campza.in/terms.
